FORTY-FIVE MINUTES TO SPEND WITH YOU BEFORE THE GALLOWS TODAY I remember looking into your eyes. I remember the rain falling. Rain, rain, falling down. Please, rain. Let me drown. 1 remember smiling at the sunset. 1 remember failing my mid-term health test. I remember spying through the kaleidoscope. Now 1 lay me down to sleep; my bag of jelly- beans at my feet. If I die before I wake, I leave them to my cousin Blake. I remember swinging a cat around by the tail.
