4 nrefnnrh As another school year comes to an end each student has many pleasant memories of the past school year of 58 59 We can remember going to many of the athletic events and attending the social activities These were all made a success by our ability to work as a unit We congratulate the student body of Charter Oak for their effort and enthusiasm Our first year at Charter Oak we had a faculty of 27 and a student body of 580 of Arms for the school and yearbook Our yearbook this year has the theme From Old To New which was chosen by the yearbook staff The Shield is a guide to every student to bring back happy memories from the past year May you have as much pleasure out of reading it as we the Shield Staff have had putting it together The Coat of Arms in the background was drawn by Bob Sexton.
