I consider it a great privilege to have helped coach such a fine group of boys. It's true we did not win many games, but after all winning is not all there is to football. The things that count the most are the things that bring out the best in an athlete. Here is a squad of players that did not quit fthere is no place in football for quittersj week after week they worked and improved, never did the opposition send in their second team against them. It took the best they had to beat these lads. It is an honor to coach a fine bunch of boys. It is a pleasure to win a game but to me the greatest thrill of all is to win a boy, and I know of no better place than on the football field. - W5 JK First row, left: Raymond Spann, James Sensing, Jimmy Spradlin, William McClelland, Murrel Trotter, Eugene Shelton, Gerald Adams, Ralph Hunter, Ernest Bone.
