LORITA More appropriate names than storekeepers might be warehousekeeper, accountant, purchasing agent or distributor. That ' s the job of Charleston ' s very small group ofSK ' s. Keeping track of more than 20.000 line items from CIWS parts to paper clips, ordering more nhen needed, storing them when received and making issues to Divisions are some of the tasks of these busy men. Then there is the never ending paperwork and computer processing required for each transaction. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the storekeepers to monitor the ship ' s nearly two million dollar annual budget. 30
