D. Perry, C Oakes EDITORS The editors of the 1981 Lyre have given everything we've got to make this yearbook a success. Although we ran into many prob- lems along the way, we managed to overcome them somehow. When a deadline rolled around it seemed like the staff was in total chaos, but things always worked out. We've made many changes throughout the book and we hope that you, the reader, will appreci- ate them. A great deal of hard work and effort have gone into the production of this yearbook, and we hope that we have cap- tured many special memories and moments of the 1980-1981 school year. Cardella, C. McDonough, J. Coleman ADS Being on Advertising Staff this year was much harder than in past years. Money was tight, so staff members received a lot of no's when businesses were asked if they would like to buy an ad in the yearbook. This didn't discourage the staff though. They were hard workers and kept at it. The entire staff would like to ex- tend a special thank you to everyone who bought an ad in the 1981 Lyre. TYPISTS: L to R; K. Sharron, L. Johnson, K. Zaborowski, M. Hunter, S. Howard, C. Huslander, I Love- less, M. Miller, T. Ranous TYPISTS Typing had to be one of the most frustrating jobs on the entire staff! Thanks to a great group of typists, the job got done. The typists were always there when they were needed and the editors could always count on them to do a terrific job. OPENING 9
