Iuniors find a new role as middlemen With a flurry of enthusiasm, the junior class began their second year at Page determined to make good their hopes of attaining superiority. The class elections determined the leaders of the 1970 junior class. These leaders had the responsibility of directing the juniors, actions into succeeding efforts on class projects. In the powder-puff football game, the junior girls played their hardest, but in vain as they fell victim of the sophomores. The float compe- tition proved to be much the same story. De- spite the efforts put forth, the junior float trailed the field. But, the juniors came back, always stronger than before. Although some- times down, the juniors were never out. Q ,.,, .,,.,. The junior president in 1969-70 was Fred Shaeffer. Re-elected as vice president and secretary were Marty Harden and Janna Whitehead. T it
