Our objective of providing land and air support to an allied army under simulated attack is similar to that encountered in MAINBRACE. However the theater is changed to the Eastern Medi- terranean and it is Turkey under the gun this time. The other NATO forces combined with us in this area are France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Great Britain.
