Varsity Football Scores Winning Season
A triumphant season rewarded the efforts of the
Brush Varsity Football team as they achieved their
greatest record in the LEL. Coach Trivisonno attrib-
uted the success to the fine leadership demonstrated
by the seniors that guided the team to victory. The
senior tri-captains Fred Vrabel, Jim Mariano, and
Jeff Boylan, spearheaded this outstanding leader-
ship. Other team members whose performances de-
serve recognition are the most valuable player, Jeff
Boylan: the most improved player, Steve Elton, and
Fred Vrabel, winner of the Corner award for excel-
lence in leadership, citizenship, and sportsmanship.
It was a quality team that made this season the
third best in the history of Brush Football.
