THE YEARBOOK Of the various activilties and events at Gaskill, the distribution of the Year- book is one that is eagerly anticipated by the student body. The staff, students from Miss Brennan's 10-A class and the Honor Society, has worked hard and put forth much effort in compiling this book in the hope that it would meet and surpass the quality standard set by other fine yearbooks. Pictured on the title page are the three co-editors, Gary Martin, Heidi Mueller, and Louise Scheider. Credit for the cover design goes to Robert Inskeep. Faculty advisers were Miss Brennan, Miss Storey, Mr. Kinan, and Mr. Tyszka. This book serves as a record for 'the year 1960-1961. May you enjoy it now as in years to come. Besides offering a wide selection of academic subjects, Gaskill also offers many sports activities. These are also essential, for a strong body is as important as a strong mind. Boys are offered basketball, football, swimming, and track, Everyone wants to win, of course, but this is not possible. What is more important is that being on a team with the other guys teaches thie student how to get along with others and work together. Girls' sports include volleyball, table tennis, swimming, basketball and the important task of cheerleading. It is doubtful that any of us will ever make the Olympics - but we have fun. -Gary Martin GIRLS' GYM
