Serving as a medium of expression for the student body and -the faculty, this publication also helps promote and carry out the fine traditions for which Gaskill is widely known. A group of 25 students under the direction of their adviser, Miss Fezer, perform all the journalistic tasks that are a part of publishing a newspaper. This year a total of 831 subscriptions were sold to the student publication. The Gaskill Achievement Emblem and awards were presented to the 'three roll calls which showed outstanding school spirit by having 10096 subcriptions to the Dial. -Susan Kadykowski and Tom Carlson BEN FRANKLIN CLUB

Third Row: Mr. Schatz, Raymond Roberts, Louise Soheider, Jill Palumbo, Bar- bara Stewart, Paul Mokhiber. Amon-g the many activities at Gaski-ll, our Music Department plays a very im- portant role. Our various musical organizations perform for assemblies and other programs such as the annu-al Spring Concert. The Ninth and Tenth Grade Chorus as well as the Girls' Glee Club, the Bar- bershoppers, and the Boys' Choir are under the guidance of Miss Farley. Mr. Schatz has charge of the Orchestra, Band, String Ensemble, and the Dance Band.
