NINTH GRADE Friar Schultz and his fellow brother m o n k s have just discovered some 'ancient manuscripts. Among them is the history of G'a'skill's 9th grade class of 1960-1961. Brother Tom Carlson begins reading these records with the section teliing of the 9th graders as 7th 'graders in the year 1958-1959. Among the prize winners for the best costumes at the annual Hallowe'en party were David Weaver, Jerry Moldenhauer, and Victoria Thomasine. Allen Karch won second place in the 7th and 8th grade spelling bee. Also, nu- merous 7th graders participated in the successful Variety Show. Brother Gregory Barker continues the reading of the section de- voted to the 8th grade in the year 1959-1960. The awards for the highest averages for the previous year went to Thomas Weisflog and Brad Smith. The spelling bee honors went to Peggy McKnight and Jackie Finley. The overwhelming success of the annual Variety Show was partly due to the talented 8th graders. Brother Walter Watson takes over reading more about this class. The 9th grade was a very successful year for them. Brad Smith and Joe Critelli took the 'highest average honors and a large number of 9th grad- ers were induc-ted into the Honor Socie-ty.
