CLASS PROPHECY Gazing into his crystal ball, Merlin of King Arthur Gallo's Court faintly sees im-ages of people preparing for the coming events. People are crowded in the streets and cheers of excitement echo throughout the town. Arriving in the town are Prince Roger Fabin, and two rock and roll kings, Joe Campese and Bob Koperski. Also s e e n arriving are the Prime Minister, George Dlugoz, and his dancing girls, Lorraine Puisys, Nancy Ann Wilson, and Rene Phillips. As the procession moves down to Carolyn Genova Street the g u e s t s are led to the seats of honor by the Secretary of Education, Michael Becotte. As we look around we see some of the celebrities present. Among them are the tournament cheerleader, Kathy Conti, and the Three Muskeeters - Carol Scott, Marianne Specht, and Linda Metzler. Merlin and the members of the court distinctly hear the voice of Prince Fabin as he tel-ls that his castle is owned by King Larry Rosen. 'Phe prince also tells of the theater owned by Phyllis Bobek, where at present Gary Di Laura is recreating dances done bv the great Jim Sorour. Every weekend the theater presents a jam session featuring Carl Hannold with his cool piccolo, and Tony LaRosa with his hot potato. Printovision is very popular. The main station is CNM fCandella, Nicora, Matsu- lavagel. Some of the popular programs are: Ballet Time starring Matt Zarosl and the famous western program, Three Gun Sdao , with his two sidekicks, Joe Sacco and Ar- nold Sinatra. ' Some of the commercials that really sell are 'a b o ut Joette Armelli's pickled ice cream, Gary DeFelice's high heeled sneakers, and Rosalyn Murgia's magical stilts. If one has talent, one may visit The Louise Scheider Talent Studio. The studio club has many members. Among them are: Donna Skrlin who made the hit song, I Only Have Eyes For Ricky Skwarzynski : Cheryl Taylor, a famous toe dancer, and Carol Hughey, a mysterious torch singer. There -are also Jon Schultz and Jim Mamon, the dragon eaters. Good food is plentiful, says the Prince. A luscious licorice two feet l-ong can be bought at any of Christine Del Grosso's and Jean Edward-s' grocery stores. Also there is Papa Pete Cerra's wild Pizza House where you 'can -buy pizzas as big as Lewis Jones, or as small -as Gordon Fogg. It is now time to leave the table and be on our way to the tournament that is about to start. Great crowds are gathering and we see Rose Coliceno, Carol Yankelunas, and Paulette Whittle. Knig-hts and their 'ladies come from far and near for this special event. The galleries are decorated with tapestries and banners and are fi-lled with gailv dressed 'men and women. Among them are Kathy Golda, Beverly Tedesco, and Sue Kada- kowski. The crowds are becoming tense. On the left side of the gallery we see Barbara Ro-sino with her lace and velvet dress made by the- famous d r e s s designer, Judy Soluri. Next to he-r sits Roy Alongi, court Romeo , and Jerry Sl-ipko, court Jester . Suddenly, Martin Sawma, Propaganda Minister, cries: Come forth knights, come forth. The knights in shining armor dash upon the field. From King Art'hur's Court we see Charles Harding, Ronald Lucin-ski, Les MacKenzie, and Bill Anderson. Challenging them are Richard Spalla, Kenny Pavan, Richard Nation and Frank Kankolenski, bold knights of Queen Dorothy Sobczyk's Court. A 'loud clash is heard as the brave knig-hts encounter. As we take 'a second look, we see knight Bill Wynes is dismounted. After he is carried off the field, we discover 'he has encountered a swollen finger nail. As the tournament continues, the crystal ball is -hazy and d-ark. What could it be that is causing this interference? As we look at Merlin, we see the reason. 'He has fallen sound asleep and we can no longer see what the future will be until next year. Dorothy Sobczyk, George Dlugoz, Roger Fabin
