naw --f A Henry Alfaro and Eddie Sajor will lead this years Raider baseball team. The team will be somewhat young and inex- perienced but the season should still be exciting. Returning Raiders on the team are: Henry Alfaro our All League infield- er. He is also one of the leading hitters in the county and a four year letterman. Eddie Sajor has exceptional speed and should be a great leaddoff hitter. Also returning Alex Mortel an excellent hitter and outfielder. Victor Landeros an out- standing defensive infielder. Larry Guz- man is very versitile being not only a pitcher but an outfielder. Richard Mori- moto and Tom Couture are exceptional high school catchers. Our power hitters are George Lopez, Alex Mortel, John Sunia and Freshman Patrick Avila. Our lead pitching squad contains Benn Sherman, George Lopez, Larry Guzman, and Gabe Ramirez. As I said the team is young and inexpe- rienced yet with each game we will get better. This will lead to a very competi- tive season as it progresses.
