X D Q., ! QL!! John The Wrestling Team had another outstanding season finishing 7-1 overall and 5-1 in league to finish 2nd in the final team standings, fa notch up from last years 6-2 cam- paignl. In Tournament competition the team performed even better. Winning the Championship at the El Rancho 38 Team Invitational, 3rd at Colton Christmas Classic, and 3rd at the always tough Edgewood Tourna- ment, which was a big mental lift toward the League Finals. The situation looks GREAT for next year with all but 2 starters re- turning along with the fantastic 2XJ.V. Marmonte League Champi- ons the Raiders will be a real power! It was a Year of learning and fun, but we're proud of this years team. We improved as the season went on. We did well compared to last years team. We fLetty Ferrer and Ollie Otisl tried our best. Ending the year with a satisfying 10 - 10 over all re- cord. This year was a first for me and head coach Letty Ferrer at Channel Islands. Special thanks to: Ryle, Letty, Yearbook, and the team of '85 - '86 season for all the memories. It was Fun.
