1. I f At the beginning of the season coach Rada said, Being a young team in the second year of building a program our expectation remains to improve and have fun while we play. We have two outstanding golfers Senior John Paul Fredette and Sophomore Joe Heslip who have the ability of quality for individuals C.I.F. competition in June. We also are greatful to have the new River Ridge course in Oxnard as our home. The J .V. completed another fine season as they defended their sole Marmonte League title by repeat- ing as Co-League Cahmpions. Their overall dual meet record was 7-1, as their only lose was to the Co-League Champions West- lake. Their tournament record con- tinued to shine with excellence as they repeated as Champions at the Ventura Sunrise Optimist Tour- nament and at the Marmonte league Tournament. To compli- ment these two outstanding show- ing the J.V. place second at the Simi Soph-frosh Tournament and second to the Buena varsity at the Thousand Oaks soph-frosh Tour- nament. The J.V. is stacked with fine young talent such as Freshmans Arnal Sudaria, Bruce Griefen- stien, and Andy Salazar, Sopho- mores dominated the line up as Kirk Stone, Hung and James Bal- court, and returning two-time League Champion Tommy Flores crushed their opponents.
