The Agricultural Department at C.l. was a one teacher department that offered courses from Landscape Design to BasicfHorticulture. One of the biggest projects of this department was to prepare and enter group and individual exhibits at the Ventura County Fair. Most students of the Agricultural Department were members of the Future Farmers of America Organization. This organization participated in seminars, contests, and conferences in addition to activities and fund raising projects at school. GF .33- 5 . . Most of the classes relied on lab work which ranged from measuring the size of a molecule as freshmen to dissecting sharks as seniors. Some classes studied the world in general such as Everyday Science, while others study specific disciplines such as Biology, Physiology, Chemistry and Physics. This year Oceanography was offered for the first time.
