CAREER CENTER - THE PLACE THAT HAS ROO FOR YOUR FUTURE. Information, assistance, relevancy, all these were found in the Channel Islands High School Career Center. This large brightly decorated room contained thousands of references, pamphlets, audio visual equipment periodicals and a large wealth of valuable material. Students had the option of coming in with their classes or alone during lunch periods. lf there was a speaker scheduled, the students have a sign up sheet to guarantee them a pass to attend the func- tion, the same applies to any films that are being shown. The lunch periods were meant to be the busiest. A student could wander around the room check- ing all the cross references there were many or just snoop and see what there was to offer. All this'was available daily 8:30 am to 3:00 pm under the guidance of Ms. Yvonne Shelby, the Career Guidance Technician. ik' l I .
