mq ik' b ,4 BI it CAKE pl"0l0AeCy Year: 1999 Place: Mars Purpose: Class of 1954 re-union As we paged through the "Big Black Book", we found the following members of this class scattered about as follows: DALE ALCORN and MARILYN COOK fbelieve it or lnotb happily married. Dale plans and prepares all meals in his spare time away from his desk as a large share-holder in the Hudson Motor Company, and Marilyn jots down the numer- ous household duties for Dale before she leaves for her secretarial job every morning down at the WAVE 'Recruiting office. NORMA JEAN HOPPER had just been appointed Chief Nurse-in-Waiting at the Walter Reed General Hospital, Washington, DC. Norma Jean had just dis- covered a new serum for mending broken hearts, and finding new heart throbs. SAM DYSON, Admiral, U. S. Navy, was not to be outdone either. He had just completed his tenth mission to Mars-the first mission having been completed by a minor change of course on a misguided missile. Sam was so surprised that he made nine more missions to believe the first one. DEAN DUCKWILER was found in the wrestling business. He had become a "man of the canvas" and has wrestled with all in the business . . . winning all bouts, too. A man who carried his weight around. The Haven for Lonesome Men was the establishment JANOLA CLARK had founded. The business had grown so great that Janola branched out into four major cities and spent her time searching for more customers. LULA ANDERSON had taken over the lead in the Broadway Musical, "Annie Get Your Gun." A natural born horse lover, Lula toted two of them that forty-fives and could shoot holes in the ears of a rabbit while riding bareback at a distance of 'fifty feet. DUWAYNE EILERS had set out upon a quest of not only "searching," but "finding" the missing link. The quest, began in 1954, was still in progress - DuWayne, a sad and wearisome sight, still searching - searching - searching - HENRY JOHNSON had found refuge as a great Shakespearean actor. His portrayal as "Pappy" in the senior class play had brought him stage offers from all corners of the earth. Henry was still ad libbing his parts and critics proclaimed this as being even better than Shakespear had ever written. RUBY MORRIS' was completing her thirtieth year Qand eighty billionth wordsj as a world renowned traveler, lecturer, and author. Upon recently returning from the Antarctic regions, she was lecturing on, "Pelicans - Habits and Mannerismsf' DARREL HUNT was not to be found. Reports rumored about that he had insisted upon the belief that a new and more powerful explosive could be formulated out of the mixing of the atom bomb formula and hydrogen bomb formula. Darrel had been seen one day with a copy of both formulas. But he could not be found. ..7..
