This past year the club has been rather successful in its candy sales. Along with the Gummi Bears and Toblerones, they sold Christ- mas calendars that held delectable choco- late morsels . In addition to the selling of these candies, the club continues to in- crease the skills of the German language. Each year the German Club raises money to send a student to Germany to learn of the customs ofthe people and to have a chance to use the language skills that they have learned to communicate with the Ger- man people. Frau lVlaher is very proud of the strides that the German Club is mak- ing and hopes that they will continue to work toward their goals . Below: Frau Maher, German Club sponsor, discusses some of the interesting books that can be obtained for those who enjoy German literature. Below, Left: Howard Wassner seems to be enjoying his Gummi Bears but work seems to be the only thing on Anthony DeLugt's mind.
