WOLF HOWL STAFF REORGANIZES The Wolf Howl is a group of hard working individuals who have a common interest in journalism. Each person is required to know how to write copy, draw up layouts, and write head- .lines. All production work is done on campus in close coolgera- tion with the Graphic Arts Production Staff. lVls. iane Griffith, the staff's advisor, has been very pleased with the improvements that each staffer has made during the past year. ln addition to the advisor, there are a number of other positions of importance that need to be filled. The first is the Editor-in-Chief. Randy Truxal served as this year's editor. His duties included making sure that all production work is finished on time and looking over all other areas of newspaper work. There was also an Assistant Editor, Randy Pritchett, whose duty it was to take over if the editor was not available. The Copy Editor, Lin Sherman, was responsible for the check- ing of copy and helping the other reporters gain new ideas. Business lVlanager, Jeff Smith, conducted all manner of busi- ness which concerned the finances of the Wolf Howl Staff. The most important part of the staff consisted of the rejyorters. They were assigned stories and from there they gathere all necessary information that was newsworthy. All o these people worked together to produce the CHS Wolf Howl Newspaper. wwtaw ..... . I. This past year the club has been rather successful in its candy sales. Along with the Gummi Bears and Toblerones, they sold Christ- mas calendars that held delectable choco- late morsels . In addition to the selling of these candies, the club continues to in- crease the skills of the German language. Each year the German Club raises money to send a student to Germany to learn of the customs ofthe people and to have a chance to use the language skills that they have learned to communicate with the Ger- man people. Frau lVlaher is very proud of the strides that the German Club is mak- ing and hopes that they will continue to work toward their goals . Below: Frau Maher, German Club sponsor, discusses some of the interesting books that can be obtained for those who enjoy German literature. Below, Left: Howard Wassner seems to be enjoying his Gummi Bears but work seems to be the only thing on Anthony DeLugt's mind.
