WOLF HOWL STAFF REORGANIZES The Wolf Howl is a group of hard working individuals who have a common interest in journalism. Each person is required to know how to write copy, draw up layouts, and write head- .lines. All production work is done on campus in close coolgera- tion with the Graphic Arts Production Staff. lVls. iane Griffith, the staff's advisor, has been very pleased with the improvements that each staffer has made during the past year. ln addition to the advisor, there are a number of other positions of importance that need to be filled. The first is the Editor-in-Chief. Randy Truxal served as this year's editor. His duties included making sure that all production work is finished on time and looking over all other areas of newspaper work. There was also an Assistant Editor, Randy Pritchett, whose duty it was to take over if the editor was not available. The Copy Editor, Lin Sherman, was responsible for the check- ing of copy and helping the other reporters gain new ideas. Business lVlanager, Jeff Smith, conducted all manner of busi- ness which concerned the finances of the Wolf Howl Staff. The most important part of the staff consisted of the rejyorters. They were assigned stories and from there they gathere all necessary information that was newsworthy. All o these people worked together to produce the CHS Wolf Howl Newspaper. wwtaw ..... . I. STAFFERS PUT I MANY LCN A change on the El Lobo Staff this year was the replace ment of Carolyn Williams as advisor with lVIs . Nancy Lipinski. Co-Editors Sherri IVlcCain and Chris Davis, with assistance from lVls. Lipinski, worked together during the summer planning the theme, design, ladder, and ideas for the book. They then assigned layouts to the staff members throughout the year as well as doing several spreads them- selves . The staff constantly felt the pressures of deadlines and put in many long hours in G HOURS order to meet them . The Yearbook Staff spon- sored a disco dance in October and had plans to sponsor another one in lVlarch. Below: Rita Lenhart checks last year's book for her layout infor- mation.
