The Advanced Girls' Chorus was Chandler High School's only all-female vocal group this year. ln past years there has been both an Advanced Girls' Chorus and an Advanced Girls' Ensemble, an elite group chosen from the chorus . A decline in enrollment made this impossible, however, and the girl's chorus made up the third CHS singing group, singing at such places as the fall Hootenanny and many of the Christmas concerts . Director lVlr. Hollingshead played a dual role by filling in as the girls' accompanist as well. Advanced Girls' Chorus also served the choral department by working at the conces- sion stands at all home football games, selling chocolates in the annual Chorus Candy Sale, and helping out during the year- ly Giant Garage Sale. Many of the girls also contribute working hours at chorus functions and their points to Concert Choir and lVIadri- gal members who, because of team positions or being on the pom line, have difficulty earning enough points to go on tour. Right, Front Row: Lisa Arnold, Eileen Tardibuono, Terri Pierce, Elanna Watkins, Sally Martinez. Second Row: Patty Fisher, Sandra Neel, Tammy Silveira, Jennifer Norman. Back Row: Kelly Joseph, Debbie Walker, and Cori Fullmer. THE ADVANCED GIRL'S CHORUS STILL ACTIVE Left: Sandy Neel waits for her cue to come in. Below: Patty Fisher looks over some new music.

STAFFERS PUT I MANY LCN A change on the El Lobo Staff this year was the replace ment of Carolyn Williams as advisor with lVIs . Nancy Lipinski. Co-Editors Sherri IVlcCain and Chris Davis, with assistance from lVls. Lipinski, worked together during the summer planning the theme, design, ladder, and ideas for the book. They then assigned layouts to the staff members throughout the year as well as doing several spreads them- selves . The staff constantly felt the pressures of deadlines and put in many long hours in G HOURS order to meet them . The Yearbook Staff spon- sored a disco dance in October and had plans to sponsor another one in lVlarch. Below: Rita Lenhart checks last year's book for her layout infor- mation.
