The Advanced Girls' Chorus was Chandler High School's only all-female vocal group this year. ln past years there has been both an Advanced Girls' Chorus and an Advanced Girls' Ensemble, an elite group chosen from the chorus . A decline in enrollment made this impossible, however, and the girl's chorus made up the third CHS singing group, singing at such places as the fall Hootenanny and many of the Christmas concerts . Director lVlr. Hollingshead played a dual role by filling in as the girls' accompanist as well. Advanced Girls' Chorus also served the choral department by working at the conces- sion stands at all home football games, selling chocolates in the annual Chorus Candy Sale, and helping out during the year- ly Giant Garage Sale. Many of the girls also contribute working hours at chorus functions and their points to Concert Choir and lVIadri- gal members who, because of team positions or being on the pom line, have difficulty earning enough points to go on tour. Right, Front Row: Lisa Arnold, Eileen Tardibuono, Terri Pierce, Elanna Watkins, Sally Martinez. Second Row: Patty Fisher, Sandra Neel, Tammy Silveira, Jennifer Norman.
