The group s ac tivities included sponsoring the annual Christ mas dance and putting together a float for the Homecoming parade. SPANISH CLUB The Spanish Club, with thirty active mem- bers, raised money by sponsoring car washes, several bake sales, and the selling of Christ- mas candles . The club met twice each month and was headed by President Mary Zbyszinski, Vice-President Janet Niemeyer, Secretary Sylvia Baldenegro, and advisor lVlr. Risley. The club's activities included attending a Mexican Folklore Ballet, a Christmas Party, and a trip to lVlexico. It also planned to elect an outstanding member to attend a school in lVlexico for a summer course .
