CHI SIGMA DELTA UP AND COMING Chandler High's National Forensic League consisted of approximately two dozen members, who formed a strongly competitive and highly talented Speech and Debate Team. This year's team was led by President Gary Ervin, Vice President Mark Reed, Recording Secretaries Sherrie Hudock and Kim IVlehren, and Financial and Correspond- ing Secretary Janet Sutton. lVlr. David Phares was the coach. This year's team did exceedingly well, especially in Debate. The sen- ior team of Gary Ervin and lVIark Reed lead the squad in the number of wins and first and second place awards. Other senior debate teams were: Terry Savarino and Kim lVlehren, Karen Conrad and Pat Baldwin, David Priest and lVlark lVIillian, Tammy Teague and Janet Sutton, and Wendy Burraychak and John Rayhel. The only Junior team was that of Kay Krick and Risa Ross. OCDHS BRINGS LIFE TO CHS 0 ,C,D ,H.S . is an organization de- signed for those interested in drama. The leader of this group, Mr. Michael Fain, teaches them how to apply the white face base and black liner so characteristic of pantomine troupes . Activities of the group include demonstrations on makeup applica- tion, helping with CHS stage productions and the building of the sets. One of the biggest programs is the Monster Pantomine. This production is made up of original skits created by the members of O ,C,D,H .S , and Mr. Fain.
