C. he learned how to use it. And in 1,000,000 he graduated. He was ready for life in an era that would find him largely piling bowls, knotting vines, chasing arthropods, fish or other small animals. Through learning? Indeed not! Each dawn would bring a new lesson. He was Nog, the graduate of 1,000,000 B. C. Education has advanced. And advanced. And advanced. With your gradu- ation at the opening of the 196O's, you've learned iust about 10,000 times what Nog had learned at the same point in his development. But like Nag, you're remarkably well prepared for the era in which you will live. The Miracle Era. And, like Nog . . . your education is just beginning. Whether you're on your way to college, to service, or to work, perhaps your most important quality will be the capacity to continue learning. At the DUPPS Company of Germantown, the focus is on progress. The whole world is focused on you. Because in what you've learned and what you will learn lies the key to the progress of the next million years. But Mike always gave much more help than he received. His infectious smile, his sunny personality, his cheerful chatter - these warmed the hearts of all around him. Cheerful and uncomplaining, he became a friend to all who met him. Though confined to a wheel-chair, Mike was one of the most active boys in the school. From the sidelines he cheered Eagle football and basketball teams or waved to couple-s dancing by at Sock Hops. But Mike was never on the sidelines in school spirit. He lived life to the hilt, gave freely of his serenity, accepted disability with faith, triumphed over adversity with courage. On sturdy legs of courage and faith he walks resolutely before us, his memory as bright as the smile that came so easily to his lips. 243 Alan Silk Screen Printing Arcade Food Shops Arnold Brothers Cleaners Arrow Inc.
