Librarg Chamberlain 's school library was established in 1968 in part of the new annex. At the present time, the book collection numbers about 3000 titles and there is a small audio- visual collection consisting of film- strips, sound filmstrips and records. The first aim of the library is to provide material which supports the school curriculum, Then the library should provide a collection of books which the students can enjoy as leisure-time reading. , A U .u , t A ' ' f IQUULH , Y, - , 1 , QQH: i Y W t A l A 'Q ' I V 5 A an ' 1 , ,,. if ' 1 Ll' - , ,gif QxE'i'91 'V 315' L . Educaiional Laboratory The Educational Laboratory can best be defined as a systems approach to providing the academic knowledge and skills needed or desired by an individual. Reading is the primary and core activity of the Educational Laboratory Cn the one hand, instruction in read- ing skills occurs intermittently but with a pattern until the desired skill level is obtained. On the other hand, each subject area, in its turn, becomes practice reading at the grade level on which the subject program is writ- ren. Photographs by Tyrone Bacon
