English Dept. Tries For Triple Stress Providing in-depth study and experience for each of the language skills-reading, writing, and speaking-keeps everyone busy. For example, Mrs. Fisher's seniors, who were studying the history of English language and lit- erature, produced a classroom reenactment of an Arthurian legend, Morte d'Arthur. The cast wrote the script in ballad form, adapted a mod- ern tune for accompaniment, and enacted the drama with ah, well, originality. The discovery that Middle English was a Latin-French-Anglo- Saxon blend caused no pain. Pellinore Bill Sessions slays our hero Lancelot, Ken Sessions.
