Q STUDENTS OF CENTRAL, success and happiness to you in your journey through life! In making this wish I do not mean to imply that you must acquire riches or power. Many successful and happy persons have not possessed material wealth. Happiness is something which gives pleasure in remembrance. To succeed, one must have a worthy purpose for his life. Many people have failed, or attained only limited success, because of choosing a selfish aim. I should like for you to consider a philosophy for your lives which has been accepted and proved by thousands of people tor nearly two centuries. I refer to the plan given to us by Iesus ot Nazareth. Through His lite and example, He taught that it is more blessed to give than to receivep that one should be more concerned with giving than with getting. He gave us the Golden Rule which teaches that we should do unto others as we would have them do unto us. He also said, He who would be greatest of all, must be servant of all. The Great Teacher in His infinite wis- dom put things in their correct relationship. Self must be submerged for the cause of humanity. Your reward will be the successful life and enduring happiness.
