Besides physics and chemistry, mathematics, biology, and geology classes are held in various rooms throughout the building. ,The tower, kept closed now, is the highest point in Howard County. ' 1 ' 'Tif f if if CUPPLES HALL The College Li- brary, erected in 1899, contains over 65,000 volumes and numerous publica- tions and period- icals. There are four levels of fire- proof stacks, two offices, a lobby, and four reading rooms. It is here that freshmen wade through the first in a long series of term papers.

Originally it comprised entire college. Now classrooms are located on the second and third floor.
