Activitie Activities are offered to almost every type of individual at Central. Everything from sports to fine arts are avail- able. There are organizations which offer social and civic service, others work on national and international projects. Military training is provided for those interested. Sports of all types can be found at Central. Varsity teams, intra- murals, and girls sports constitute a large portion of the athletic program. Contests in many varied fields are wait- ing for students to participate. Organizations and clubs, each offering programs, are here for those who are inter- ested. There are honorary groups, both national and civic, offered for the more ambitious students. Some organiza- tions, who by the time and effort of their members, bring honor and glory to the school. A few groups plan activities, assemblies, and dances. Others pass laws that regulate school life. The better maintenance of the school is one of the projects of one of these clubs. One international organization has as its goal, aid for people both nationally and internationally. Activities in the field of drama, arts, and music are yours for the asking. Music students participate in many civic and school programs. Art classes train students for a better understanding of arts. Drama classes plan enter- tainment for the student body. If none of these various groups seem to suit you, you may form one of your own, by organizing twenty members and a sponsor and present same to student council.
