At the Science Fair at Washington U.. Central won two grand prizes. Three stu- dents won first grand prize in the Senior Physics Division for their hydro-electric plant. Russell Wallace won first grand prize in the Junior Physics Division for his models of the six simple machines. On April 15th. the Spanish classes presented a Pan-American Day program in the auditorium. On May 3rd and May lOth, the Senior girls were lectured by the Altrusa Career Club. On May 20th, the Telesis Junior ' Toastmistress Club celebrated its first anni- versary by holding a banquet at the Down- town Y. W. C. A. On May 27th, the music departments presented their annual spring concert. May 28th was Field Day. On the night of June 9th, the 160th graduating class are to receive their diplomas, and on June llth school is to close. When the last batch of records is filed and when the last door is closed and locked, one of the most outstanding years in Central's history will come to an end. Happy Days During the Year
