BOARD OFED UCA TION The Phenix City Board of Education con- sists of seven members appointed by the City Commission for a five year term of office. Mr. A. A. Roberts, Jr., is President of the Board. The Superintendent of Schools serves as secretary to the Board. The Board is responsible for the admin- istration and management of the school system and meets regularly to make deci- sions concerning policies regarding the operation of the schools.
