STUDENT UNION OFFICERS. Sarah Jane Carrell. corresponding secretary: Cal Samra. vice-president; Joseph Pelham, president; Beverly Telford, recording secretary. This year brought revisions to the Student Union Constitution as the Student Union members, over two thousand strong, decided to extend voting privileges to “all students officially enrolled in Central High School.” Also, the executive body will include a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer as officers, by way of another amendment. Other ambiguous clauses in the Constitution were cleared as a result of three months’ work by a committee headed by George Sharpe. As in the past, the Student Union has offered its members admission to most of Central’s games, assemblies, and parties along with a subscription to the Arrow Head. It has served to unify and to make extra-class activities representative of the whole school. I he President of the Student Union was Joseph Pelham and the position of Vice-President was held by Cal Samra. Beverly Telford served as Recording Secretary, and Sarah Jane Carrell as Corresponding Secretary.
