Shamil Walters Mary Watt Class of 1948 I his year has been a wonderful one for the class of '48 because it is their senior year. Much has been accomplished through the cooperation of the senior officers: Dorothy Zavell, president; Sharon Walters, secretary; Mary Watt, treasurer, and the class sponsors, Miss Dietrich and Miss Doetsch. As Seniors the class presented their annual play. This year it was “Arsenic and Old Lace” by Joseph Kesserling, a comedy in three parts. The play was under the direction of Mrs. Helen Brown. I he Senior Board of Directors, working with the class officers and sponsors, planned the Senior Dinner Dance, Commencement, Honors Assembly, Senior Sing, and Baccalaureate, all important events in the senior year. Sports also held their place in '48, when city, valley, and state honors went to the football squad, and city and valley honors to the basketball team. I he Senior Class has accepted its responsibility to uphold the traditions and ideals of Central High. Now, after three successful years, they are ready to accept a new responsibility, and as citizens of tomorrow, are prepared to meet the future. SENIOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
