Each year, five per cent of the junior class and ten per cent of the senior class are selected on the basic of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. High standards of honesty, reliability, desirable qualities of personality, and compliance with school regulations are essential for membership in the society. Mrs. Eldred Wiser sponsors the organization. To become a member, a student must be a senior, must have a ninety per cent average for the past three and one-half years, must have served outstandingly on either the newspaper or the annual staff, and must have met requirements set by the club sponsors and by the National Society.
