s TIGER FUUTBALL 1957 Homecoming, the next week, proved to be a very successful one as the Tigers downed B.G.A. by a score of 14-13. The Bart Fite to Myers Parsons com- bination proved very succesful in this game. As the Tigers traveled to Columbia the next week they were in high hopes of ending the season on a victorious note. However, Columbia planned other- wise. In spite of a fine showing by Melvin Daniels, the Lions topped Murfreesboro 27-6. The last game of the season proved to be a heart- breaker as Shelbyville disappointed the Tigers 27-23. Again it was the Bart Fite to Myers Parsons combo, who had a very good night. Even though the Tigers had a rough season this year, they are looking forward to a prosperous sea- son next year with an experienced team under the leadership of quarterback Bart Fite. Myers Parsons 1241 gets tripped up following a long gain against Lebanon. Also shown are Raymond Howse 1741, Dale Morton 1769, Cary Carroll 1555, Steve Robinson 1881, Jesse Carter 1453, and Harold Nipper 1541. Bart Fite 1105 is pushed out of bounds on this end run against Sparta. fi if-is ax fi L-,, 3.1 ssikiisys, K K its AE ji , L . .. Psi, ,ii 'K K ..
