This game proved to be a preview for another tough season for the Tigers. However, even though the season was a rugged one, the Tigers finished in the top one- third of the state's teams. In the next game the situation was reversed as the Tigers thrashed Tullahoma 29-0. Chuck Vaughn and Bart F ite led the team for their iirst victory. The next week the Tigers journeyed to Lebanon and were defeated by a score of 14-6. Bart Fite came up with the only Central touchdown of the game. Next, Central hosted Lawrenceburg. The Wild- cats slipped by the Tigers by a score of 18-14. Cen- tral was ahead at the half but Lawrenceburg cap- italized on a Murfreesboro fumble and took the ball in for the Winning touchdown. The Tigers were tossed their fourth defeat by Springfield by a score of 27-6. Bob Piggott C855 pulls down a BCA back as Butch McBroom C65J comes up to lend a hand.
