Despite a rash of injured Pi-
rate participants, Kramchuck's
Kids took down their opponents,
placed them in predicaments,
and pinned them to the floor,
tallying an 8-3-1 season topped
oft with a District 31 crown
encore and a tenth place in
Region 8. A tive game winning
streak was interrupted by Fer-
tile, followed by defeat at the
hands of Greenbush and Bagley.
Five "wrasslers," D.Bye, R.
Coauette, B.Hanson, M.Tiede-
mann, and P.Whitney, out of
twelve weight classes ranging
from 98 lb. to Heavyweight,
made the tournament roster as
district champs. For senior
grappler Murray Tiedemann,
it was a third straight district
title, second successive region
championship, and second
date at state. He concluded the
season with a 26-2-1 mark and a
69-16-2 record for four years
on thevarsity squad.
