The play is finished, the curtain drawng the janitor is sweeping up the crumpled programs beneath the seats Arms and legs awry the marionettes have been stuffed into boxes and shipped off to new places, new performances. The bare stage lies waiting for the next season . . . But no matter how many shows are staged in our puppet theater, no matter how many marionettes come and go, we hope that a few of those present at our performance will remember our little hour in the spotlight and say, "Theirs was a good show" . . . l931
