Orchestra
The eighty piece orchestra is one
of the most selective organizations at
Central. Students gain membership
only after arduous try-outsg they repre-
sent some of the finest instrumentalists
in the city.
Directed by Mr. Robert Harrison,
the orchestra performed the overture
for the 1967 fall play, '6The Giants'
Dance." Their Road Show presentation
consisted of the original scoring of
"Night on Bald Mountain," played en-
tirely from memory. The orchestra also
plays in small groups for outside per-
formances.
