With regionals coming up, Central stands a good chance of improving their record. Woody Rhodes and Rick Fisher were named to the all-city teams, both for the second time. With the sophomore team winning in the Twin City game, the hopes for next year look brighter. 59 This year's Central Sophomore Basketball team totally dominated teams in not only their conference but lake conference schools such as Richfield, losing only one regular season game to Minneapolis South.
