In Central Studio, the Triettes provide recreotion, entertainment, and discussion groups. Many of the actresses used in our productions are found within this group. A division of the Y.W.C.A., the Triettes, under the direction of Miss Daniels and Miss Turnquist from the home lot and Mrs. Jones from Y.W.C.A. headquarters, have shows, such as the spring style review featuring fashions from a leading Minneapolis store. The Hi-Y group on the Central lot is a worthwhile service and social organization. The actors gain skill in many fields. Stage frigh» is overcome by giving annual speeches in the churches in this area in behalf of the Community Chest Drive. Social poise, needed by every movie idol, is gained through repeated contact with other actors while working on projects and at social functions.
