Under the direction of Mr. Hovey, these camera jockeys learn their art through contests, field trips, and discussions of photographic techniques. FOURTH ROW: Wiebe, luedlke, Gibbs, Honsing, Hapf. When the lead starts flying on the set, everyone knows the Central Sharpshooters have taken over. With Director Hardy and his assistant, Floyd Poole, in charge of the proper care and handling of firearms, safety is assured during the action scenes. 21

One of the youngest and largest organizations on the studio lot has a big project underway. The Spanish Club is going on location in Mexico for the production of a travelogue. To finance their project, they have had a paper sale, sold vanilla and Christmas cards. Miss Lis key, the club's able advisor, says that she hopes the travelogue will further interest in the Spanish speaking countries. It is also hoped that it will create a spirit of friendliness between the United States and Mexico. FRONT ROW: J. Johnson, Wallace, Booth, Snesrud, J. Swanson, Alexander, Applebaum, Weslvoog, E. In Central Studio, the Triettes provide recreotion, entertainment, and discussion groups. Many of the actresses used in our productions are found within this group. A division of the Y.W.C.A., the Triettes, under the direction of Miss Daniels and Miss Turnquist from the home lot and Mrs. Jones from Y.W.C.A. headquarters, have shows, such as the spring style review featuring fashions from a leading Minneapolis store. Besides get-togethers for fun, the Hi-Y and Triettes combined efforts in the Heart Fund campaign and took charge of the Easter program. TKIETTES €ABIXET FIRST ROW: Sandquist, Carpenter, Stiles.
