Central Theater Guild, commonly called the Mimes and Mummers, presents various forms of dramatic entertainment to help make the hours aboard ship more enjoyable. The aspiring Bernhardts and Barrymores have truly used this year's cruise to good advantage for on their list of four bell hits are such star performances as the chilling mystery. The Jeweled Hand.” the annual Christmas pageant. The Lost Star, and the melodrama. They Ain't Done Right by Nell. The Mimes are exclusive in their own right, too. with openings for only thirty of our more talented shipmates who ore voted into the club after the semi-annual tryouts. Another well known trademark of the Mimes is the path that's worn on the main deck between stateroom 216 and back stage of the H.S. Central's Little Theater. 12

Hl-Y To create, maintain, and extend high standards of Christian character—a worthy purpose for any club, and Hi-Y boys may always be found along the decks of the ship carrying out their purpose. It has been an eventful year for Hi-Y: The Halloween party at Idahapi. the March of Dimes campaign, the joint parties with the Triettes, and topping the whole year, the annual Easter program. Yes. Hi-Y is a worthy club. Its membership is open to any boy that wishes to join, and the fellows who do join never regret it. Don Breingen, Secretary; Bill Begin. Vice President; Harold Bi . President; preside et one of the Tuesday evening meetings held et the Wunder House, a recently purchased home now used as a meeting place. Bill Begin distributes clothespins to Jim Goebel and Tom Limberis to be sold, with the receipts going to the World Fellowship Fund.
