DEDICATIO Y'-ef 1' CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL-1890 LOOKING BACKWARD To the passer-by, Central High School may be just an unattractive, old school building with nothing out of the ordinary to offerg but, within her walls during a school day, an amazing diversity of activities and interests unfold. In 1890 with eight classrooms, Central made her humble beginningg today she may boast of twenty three classrooms, plus music, industrial arts, physical education, and home economics departments, and the Library. Every square inch of space is utilized to the limit, Her 1784 graduates and countless quondam students cherish the ideals, traditions, and privileges which have been so much a part of life at Central. We, the Class of 1953, proudly dedicate this eighth issue of the CENTRALIAN to CEN- TRAL HIGH SCHOOL with the hope that her BEST will be emulated in her successor, the NEW CENTRAL.
