These articles were published each Sunday in the Cumberland Times. I The cheerleaders for this year were: Joe Rhienheart, Dorothy Jean Johnson, Mary Ann Powers, Billy Neff, Shirley Foote, and Paul Johnson. The stripes on their sweater sleeves denotes the number of years that each member served. Our cheerleaders have upheld Central through victory and defeat.

tissmmxrxwwff 'FW The Chemistry Club, organized by Mr. Kendrick Hodgson, meets every Monday, paying a weekly dues of five cents. The members, who are all Juniors, go on various field trips and have lectures on the current subjects. Paul Jeffries is the president of this club, which has a membership of approximately thirty students. -zu The Biology Club meets every other Thursday, each member paying five cents dues. It is composed completely of sophomores, having approximately 20 members. Gene Whitefield was elected as president of this organization. This club has been one of our best ways of mixing pleasure with work in school.
