English teachers assist students with reading, speaking, and writing correctly. Miss Schriber, head of the Eng- lish Department, supervises the English Workshop, where students come for assistance on assignments. All English teachers at Central work to bring new ideas into the classroom by keeping up with the latest de- velopments in linguistics and composition.
