Promotion of Peace Many note-worthy proiects were undertaken this year by the Junior Red Cross whose purpose it is to help the less fortunate and promote interna- tional understanding. All members are elected by their session rooms for service for the entire year. Projects sponsored this year included filling gift boxes for children overseas, making hospital carts for the Maple Grove Home, and sending Christmas cards to hospitals, and coolcies to the Veteran's Hospital in Battle Creelc.
