 Challenge Talent Night , a yearly event at Central High School involving the senior, junior, and sopho- more classes in dramatic competition, seemed to be more successful in the 1970-71 school year. Taking third place, the juniors presented Elmer. It was directed by Kay Dible and Bryan Aumiller. The sophomores captured second place in the com- petition by presenting The Capricious Pearls. Directing duties were handled by Ellen Tarr and Ron Sinclair. The sophomores also walked away with the 30 per cent profit from ticket sales because they had the largest attendance at the one-night stand in the Central High auditorium. 1971 Challenge Talent Night The seniors. Class of 1971, took top honors with their interpretation of The Bride Wore Red Pajamas. Cast members were Charles Gross, Karen Heald, Steve Wiemer, Connie Odelberg, and Byron Walcher. Cindy Osborne handled all the directing chores.
